Okay finalised. Tomorrow will be at Plaza Singapura[dhoby gaut MRT]. We will be watching Night at the Museum 2, the 1.15pm show. The movie is 105 minutes. So yeah..
We shall meet around 12pm, buy the tickets first(?) and then set off to eat. Probably at Macs/KFC at Basement 1. We meet at the ticketing counter straight away. These are the people going. If you are going (I hope ppl go!), meet at 1pm at the canteen and look out for me. I will finish my oral first since I am one of the first few. Don't need to bring extra cash and once we're done bowling, you can stay on or you can get a ride to the MRT station or mall. I guess 4 people can squeeze at the back of a car so I hope to get some replies on Monday!

hello guys, promotional parade is over. many of you are probably feeling sad or happy now that you have been promoted.

to those that got a acting top post, treasure it! don't be complacent. doesn't mean that you've got the post and you can slack now. work hard to be confirmed as a top. gain the respect of your batchmates as well as the band itself. show who you really are, as DM thinks of you. don't ignore your batchmates and just focus on the band.

to those who got a SL post, you've been chosen according to your skills in music, as well as your leadership skills. don't be sorry that you did not get a top post. as Sir Dom said, it doesn't mean that you are not a top and you can't contribute to the band anymore. show that you are capable to lead your section to greater heights, teaching them skills and hopefully lead them to at least a gold in SYF 2011.

to those who did not get a post at all, don't lose hope. if you think that you're probably better than someone else who got a post, show it. your actions will not be ignored.

to those who are unhappy that they did not get a post or a acting top post, don't dwell on it too much, anyway, accept it as there is someone able to do the job better than you. you should be happy in fact, that someone is able to help the band better. trust DM's decision.

to those who do not want their posts for what ever reason. don't let go of your posts. DM trusts you and thats why he chose you for the job. don't quit because you can't do it. maybe DM sees something in you that can help the band as a whole.

to the batch, don't drift further apart. remember the happy memories that we spent together. the batch BBQ, the parades we had cleaning the bandroom, the times we got pumped together, instructors course, bandcamp, SYF, batch outings. see how much fun we had then, don't because of the posts break up further. the people who didn't get a post, don't make yourselves like outcasts of the band, lets lead the band as a batch! as sir dom said just now, breaking up the batch is easier than building bonds within the batch.

i remember somebody telling me this in sec 1, "we come as strangers, we leave as brothers". don't let anything affect our friendship. we are one batch, one sound and with three years of bonding

Ok so tomorrow the school will be having cbs visit. PSLs & Sec 3s involved would have a good chance to force, I mean convince, the primary 6 students to join band next year if they come to sji ! Do remember to make a good impression ! and polish ceremonial parts. and boots.

okay this is my first time ever posting on a blog...(OMG). my bro asked me to tell u this. theres a NJC concert on this tuesday atVCH (the real one, not cherng hao). its starts 7.30pm and i dunno when it ends.the concert is like a cultural concert, theres band, theres orchestra, (i dunno whether got INDIAN dance), and other aesthetic CCAs performing. tickets are priced at $12 and please try to pay the money tomorrow (although it is a little to late because you are probably seeing this on the 18th of may). if you cant pay tomorrow however, pay me on tuesday, but inform me early that you are going.

As the mid-year examinations draw closer, we pray that we revise thoroughly and remember whatever our teachers have taught us. We also pray that during this swine flu period, we keep healthy and fit for the exams so that we can do well. We also pray for the welfare of Dave who is suffering from Chickenpox and will not take his mid-years. And finally we pray that in whatever we do, we do our utmost best and put in our all.
